Trust Jesus.

You probably have an opinion about Jesus. Maybe you think He's a great teacher or a prophet. Maybe you think He didn't exist at all. Whatever you believe, we can probably agree that Jesus changed things.

We believe that Jesus has made a way for you.

Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well." (John 14:6)

No matter who you are, what you've done, where you were born or the color of your skin, Jesus is the way for you to have a relationship with God. Everyone is invited. Everyone is included. Everyone is important.

If you think you are the exception, think again. Jesus loves you.

So how do you actually become a Christian?

Look at what the Scriptures say: "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)

That's the truth.

Confess with your mouth. Believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord... that God raised him from the dead, and your sins are forgiven and your relationship with God has begun.

You may be thinking, "But don't I have to be a better person first?"

No. You don't. You don't change in order to gain God's love; you change because you have experienced His love.

When you trust Jesus as your Savior, you walk into the fullness of God's love. Gradually, over time, His love changes you as you follow Jesus. You change because you are loved... not in order to be loved.

Through Jesus' death on the cross and his being raised from the dead, He took all of your wrong and gave you all of His right. If you believe (trust; depend) and commit to follow Jesus, your life will never be the same. Believing in Jesus is the first step on a journey of abundant life. It is not the end of your race, but just the beginning.

Have you trusted Jesus with your life? If so, let us know!

Be baptized.

Baptism is something Christians have been doing for thousands of years to symbolize their faith in Jesus.

Baptism is a public declaration of your relationship with Jesus.

If you have questions about baptism, or your ready to be baptized, let us know!

Read your Bible.

What's the best way to get to know God? Great question.

Start by talking to God. But prayer really comes alive when you pair it with reading your Bible.

You can't have a close relationship with someone you never talk to or hear from. It's impossible. God's Word - the Bible - is the primary way He speaks to us. And it's the absolute best way to discover how to follow Jesus on a daily basis. If you want to know more about God and His promises, reading your Bible is your next step.

You can download the YouVersion Bible App for free from your phone or tablet.

Also, talk to a greeter or a pastor on Sunday morning to get a hard copy of the Bible on us.

Then start reading. 10 minutes a day.

We suggest starting with The Gospel of John and then reading The Letter to the Romans.

Worship with us.

Worship is a lifestyle. Worship is how we live our lives. It's a life lived in thankful response to all that God has done for us in Jesus!

As a church we gather to worship Jesus and grow together in His grace and truth.

Scripture tells us to consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together... but encouraging one another. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

As we gather each Sunday we have the unique opportunity to praise God and encourage one another in this journey of faith.
