Barrington Baptist Church exists to glorify God by following Jesus and leading others to Him. We gather together to worship Jesus and grow together in His grace and truth, and we go to serve and share the Gospel with our neighbors everywhere we live and work and play.

What to expect. FAQs.

How do I get to BBC?

Our address is 25 Old County Road in Barrington, Rhode Island. We are just west of the Wampanoag Trail (Rts 114/103). Click here for directions, or call the church office at 401-246-0188 if you need any help.

Where do I park?

We are blessed with a big parking lot! We have reserved a few spaces for our new guests in the parking lot between Barrington Christian Academy and the church along Old County Road closest to the church building. There is also parking available for those needing assistance with an entrance to the west of the church building.

What happens in a service?

Our worship service starts at 9:30 and lasts around an hour. We are led in song and praise by our Praise Team, accompanied by guitar, drums, and keyboard. We always listen to a relevant message from the Bible.

What should I wear?

We try to create an atmosphere that is relaxed; a "come as you are" kind of place where you can wear a pair of jeans or your "Sunday best" and feel welcome just the same.

What about my kids?

Kids' Worship is available at 9:30, as well, and is a high-energy and meaningful time of worship for preschool and elementary school-aged kids. Of course, we invite all children to sit with their parents, but provide this as another option.

What about coffee or refreshments?

We gather for coffee and light snacks at 10:45 following the Sunday service.

What about the rest of the week?

Various teams meet at different times during the week to pray and plan. Be sure to check out the church calendar for times and meeting places for a whole host of team meetings, studies, and other ministries. Contact the church office if you have any questions.
